My name is Kat W.

I spent many years of my childhood free time working on watercolor portraits and pencil realism portraits. I never considered art to be anything more than a form of healing practice.

After many years of mastering my mediums, I began to dream of working with what I considered to be the “forbidden medium.” One medium I could not master without a teacher. Thus I began the search for a tattoo shop and began my journey at Mind Altering Tattoos.

I got the privilege to watch my coworkers execute their work with vision and the grace that comes from mastering mediums and found my inspiration within their work. I enjoy pieces with fantasy and anatomy dysmorphia concepts. My favorite forms of tattooing are stipple shading and geometrical linework.
